Job Description
Kickstart Your Career in Alcohol & Other Drugs! Become an AOD Trainee
- Full-time, Monday to Friday - 6 month fixed-term contract
- $34.73 per hour + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550
- Based at our Narre Warren site, on the lands of the Wurundjeri, Boon Wurrung & Bunurong Peoples

What You’ll Do
- Support clients to achieve their recovery goals
- Shadow skilled practitioners and assist with group facilitation
- Complete case notes, assessments, and referrals
- Participate in self-directed learning, workshops and supervision
- Assist with community engagement and program evaluation

- Passion for the AOD sector
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Openness to learning, feedback, and professional growth
- Ability to work collaboratively and navigate ethical situations
Requirements
✔ Have completed or currently enrolled in:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in AOD, or
- Dual Diagnosis qualification, or
- AOD Skill Set (minimum 4 units)
✔ Victorian Driver’s Licence
✔ Competency in Microsoft Office + strong administrative skills
