Job Description
About the role
The Room Attendant plays a key role in ensuring a seamless guest experience by maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and presentation standards in guest rooms and public areas. The position is responsible for inspecting and ensuring that their assigned rooms, meet hotel quality and standards before reporting them as guest-ready. The Room Attendant will uphold hotel standards by being a role model in cleanliness, efficiency and guest service.
Key Duties
Clean and service guest rooms, storage areas and corridors efficiently, while adhering to hotel cleanliness standards and brand expectations. This includes, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets and cleaning curtains and upholstered furniture as well as dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings.
Ensure guest amenities, linen and supplies as well as advertising material, in bedrooms and bathrooms, are replenished to the correct standards for the room type.
Qualifications
About you
With a sharp eye for detail, you tackle challenges diplomatically, always striving for win-win solutions. You are highly organised, efficient and able to juggle multiple tasks with ease.
