Job Description
The Habilitative Program Administrator (HPA) will serve as a member of the Washington State Clinical Team, creating and overseeing habilitative plans for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in the Supported Living Program in Tacoma.
- Use information and data collected through direct observation and meetings with individuals supported to develop Functional Assessment and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
- Develop Individual Support Plans (ISP) for individuals on caseload
- Train team members on plans and program implementation
- Partner with program directors to implement support plans
- Using electronic data collection system (Therap), review data and compile reports for other members of support team on behavior and habilitative goal progress
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of tracking spreadsheets for relevant due dates and person-centered planning meetings
- Keep up to date on all relevant state policy changes
- Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders outside the organization, i.e. guardians and DDCS partners
- Attend support planning meetings as required
Qualifications
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Must have a master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, mental health, special education, social work, or other related discipline. Will also consider candidates in the last semester of obtaining master's degree.
- 2+ years of experience with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing support plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, and/or challenging behaviors
- Strong administrative skills with demonstrated experience
- Strong leadership skills with ability to train and mentor support teams
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strongly preferred
