Role Overview
Omdia is looking for qualified and motivated analysts to support its Small and Medium Display research practice for reports, consultations, and conferences.
The Principal Analyst for Small and Medium Displays will support the Lead Analyst in conducting market research across various applications, including wearable devices, smartphones, XR, automotive, and other relevant sectors. The Analyst will ensure the consolidation of accurate data and contribute to the timely delivery of research databases. Additionally, the Analyst will collaborate with regional teams to harmonize research efforts and deliver comprehensive market insights.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Data Consolidation:
Assist the Lead Analyst in gathering and consolidating data on small and medium display markets, focusing on applications such as wearables, smartphones, XR, automotive, etc.
Regularly report to the Lead Analyst on research findings, including market trends, shipment data, pricing strategies, production developments, and supply chain information.
Collaboration and Communication:
Maintain a network of industry contacts, including suppliers, component makers, and key players across the display supply chain.
Market Intelligence and Reporting:
Contribute to market intelligence services, including monthly insights, quarterly reports, and technology market trackers.
Client Service and Support:
Qualifications
Strong experience and skill in data consolidation and market analysis are essential.
5+ years of experience in the flat panel display industry, particularly within wearable, smartphone, XR, or automotive sectors.
