Job Description
You will take a leading role in proactively directing and developing the Asset Owners (“AO”) business lines in Asia, with a strong emphasis on clients within Family Offices, Private Wealth structures, and Sovereign/Institutional Asset Owners. You will drive commercial growth, strengthen client relationships, and expand service lines in alignment with the business strategy. You will also ensure that the teams, tools, and processes supporting service delivery are high‑performing and fully compliant with the relevant regulatory environments across the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the strategic development of the AO businesses in Asia, with a core focus on Family Office and Private Wealth clients.
- Deliver the commercial budget across the existing client portfolio while maintaining the highest levels of client service and relationship management.
- Contribute to enhancing the long‑term strategy of the AO businesses, identifying major business opportunities specifically within the Family Office / Private Wealth segment.
- Shape and develop a culture of operational excellence and compliance; ensure teams, processes, and tools are fit for purpose.
- Manage the AO segment heads across Asia to ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery to Family Office and institutional clients.
- Promote a proactive compliance culture locally and at Group level.
- Lead cross‑jurisdiction AO projects.
- Develop and deliver the business plan and go‑to‑market approach for the sector, with emphasis on growing market share in the Family Office / Private Wealth landscape.
- Act as the key liaison for regulatory matters affecting AO businesses.
- Serve as Independent Non‑Executive Director for relevant clients.

Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Law, Business Management, or related field, plus at least one internationally recognised professional qualification.
- 15+ years’ experience in Capital Markets, Asset Owners or related sectors, including significant senior leadership exposure.
- Essential: Extensive experience working directly with high-value Family Offices, Private Wealth structures, and/or Sovereign Wealth Funds, with a demonstrable track record in commercial growth and high‑touch client management.
- Strong understanding of business process optimisation and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Chinese, Japanese) are an advantage.
