Job Description

The Student Recruitment Coordinator plays a key role in promoting the five KIPP Cooper Norcross schools and attracting new students and families. This position involves representing the schools at recruitment events, engaging with prospective families, and supporting them throughout the admissions process. The ideal candidate is an energetic and customer-service-oriented professional who enjoys meeting people and sharing information about the school community.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Represent KIPP Cooper Norcross at recruitment, community, and outreach events (including daytime, evening, and weekend events) to promote the programming at the schools and engage prospective families to apply.
- Conduct outreach to prospective students and families through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Guide families through the admissions and application process, providing accurate and timely information.
- Maintain detailed records of communication with prospective families and interactions in the enrollment CRM platform.
- Support the coordination of campus tours and open houses
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective families, addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in student recruitment, admissions, or customer service is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for recruitment events.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or admissions software systems.
- Enthusiasm for working with families and representing the school’s mission and values.
Additional Information
This position will be compensated with an hourly rate of $20. We anticipate a schedule of approximately 20 hours per week including some evenings and weekends as needed for recruitment activities and events.
